State Championships Information

Coaches, Please encourage your team families to purchase this year's program of events ($10) when they arrive. This booklet is filled with great information about the event, our sport, Up to date flight sheets, and the new edition of the ELITE coloring pages!

Important Information for Teams:

​

• Parking

  • Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, 569 Fairgrounds Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC, 27105

  • We are in the "Education Building"

  • Entry at Gate 7 off Shorefair Drive for the event.

  • Public Parking will be $5 CASH ONLY for this event.

  • The Fairgrounds is a LARGE venue with multiple entrances and buildings. Please plan extra time to find the locations as not to be last for your session!

• Spectator Tickets

  • Adults $15 per day.

  • Children $10 per day.

  • Tickets are CASH ONLY at the Front Door

  • Reentry allowed

  • Volunteers will receive a free ticket or cash refund reimbursement 

​

• Volunteers

  • Help is always needed and appreciated to have these events run smoothly. If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to NorthCarolinaTnT@gmail.com // NOTE: All adults with contact with athletes in volunteer roles will also need to complete U110 USA Gymanstics SafeSport class.

  • Volunteers will receive a refund on their entry fee for the day on which they volunteer.

• Concession Meals

  • The Winston Salem Fairgrounds for and beverage services will be selling snacks and meals at the concessions stand throughout the event

​

• Awards

  • At the conclusion of each flight, athletes will receive medals (1st - 3rd) and ribbons (4th - 10th) based on their placements within the flight. At the conclusion of each competition session, each state champion will be brought up again on stage to be presented with a champion’s trophy for their accomplishment. 

  • Team awards will be calculated EACH SESSION by combining each team’s top 3 scores together for a team “combined score.” These awards will also be presented at the conclusion of each session.

• Live Scores

  • Like last year, live scores will be available online thanks to Ignite Gymnastics Scoring.​

​

• Fine Designs T Shirts:

  • Please consider purchasing official event merchandise from our apparel vendor. Remember the phenomenal work of your athlete at this meet and throughout the season by purchasing t shirts, hoodies, and super cool apparel customized for you!

  • A portion of every apparel sale will go to supporting the dreams of Carolina T&T Athletes!

Important Information for Coaches:

​

• Parking

  • Please present your USA Gymnastics Coaches' Card at Parking and Ticketing to receive free entry to the event.

  • Entry at Gate 7 off Shorefair Drive for the event.

​

• Flight Sheets are POSTED.

  • Any changes from this point forward will insure a $10 Change fee.

  • Changes the day of the event are $20 each. 

​

• Adult Athletes & Safe Sport

  • PLEASE make sure that your athletes who are 18 years or older have completed their safe sport training through USA Gymnastics. Completion of this course is a REQUIREMENT for them to be on the field of play at the event to compete.​
